All CD38 candidates espouse anti-crime themes to one extent or the other as part of their campaigns. That said, I believe the voters should know which candidates seem to have arrest records and to that end I am posting below verified records received in response to Open Records Act requests. Walker County’s official jail records show an arrest in 1998 for an individual named Barrett Anthony McNabb. We have not seen corroborating confirmation that this individual is the same person as [the candidate], and the record reflects an arrest, not a conviction. McNabb Should address this issue in his own campaign.
